Our journey into the world of collies started in 1988 in Dallas, Texas.  We took our time going to shows all over the country, looking at lots of pictures, studied history books and talked to seasoned collie enthusiasts.  We were always drawn to the look of the Tartanside Collies beautiful expressions, and so it began.  We have met lots of people in our years in collies and life, but none have meant more to us than Joyce & Ted Dowling of Shenstone Collies.  With their mentorship and guidance we gained some Charisma and got a little Tenacious.   We continued to learn from other mentors like John Buddie of Tartanside who taught us to take small steps.  So along the way we put on our Chapeau, and picked up a Shillelagh to help us down the path.  The path was starting to take shape, with a little Misbehavin and some Stitch In Thyme we began to create the Image of Tapestry today.  Bewitched; we took a deep breath of Heir Jordan before crossing the Silver Spring and standing in a South Wynd to continue with the breed we cherish and the people we love.
